Mary was Oliver’s first ever owner – she gave him the ride on Lady Windsor back in 2000. She has since owned several horses with Oliver, the current one being Power Drive.
Why eventing? Now, because of Oliver. Originally I bred a horse out of my daughter’s eventer and someone suggested I give Oliver the ride. I stopped for a while, but a couple of years ago Oliver rang me with ‘just the horse’ and I weakened! I enjoy the social side, so it didn’t really take much persuading. I have lots of friends in the sport, and hope that one day it might happen for one of my horses….
Why Oliver? I enjoy supporting him, simple as that.
