KENTUCKY CHAMPIONS 2021! Slightly lost for words with Ballaghmor Class who jumped an outstanding clear show jumping round to win his second 5* – and bag his sixth consecutive top-5 finish at this level.
It’s an incredible privilege to ride a horse like this and a huge thank you to his owners Angela Hislop, Val Ryan and Karyn Shuter for believing in him as much as I do.
Both horses did good dressage tests and jumped clear across country, despite both losing a shoe – which made Ballaghmor Class’s round especially hard due to the heavy rain, but he was fantastic. They finished cross country day in first and eighth place.
Cooley Master Class was slightly sore from a small cut he got across country and did not show jump, but he will be completely fine and is rather full of himself.
This week has been unbelievable, huge thanks to the organisers who pulled this out of the bag and of course to our fantastic team of owners, sponsors and the people around us who work tirelessly everyday to make these things happen!
