Whilst 2021 wasn’t the year for Oliver to bag his 14th CCI4*S title at Burnham Market, he still had a successful weekend. The super-talented Cooley Rosalent, owned by Paul Ridgeon, won the CCI3*S – her first run at the level. The 2020 Six Year Old World Championship runner up was foot perfect throughout, finishing on her 26.3 dressage score.

Despite a showjump pole down, Arklow Puissance took the runner up spot in the Open Intermediate and MHS King Joules gave Oliver a lovely ride to finish fourth in his CCI4*S section. The final top 10 finish was provided by Miss Cooley who placed ninth in the CCI3*S.

Oliver beat a hasty retreat, ready to fly to Kentucky and meet up with Cooley Master Class and Ballaghmor Class ahead of this coming weekend’s CCI5* event.
