Oliver Townend and ODT GhareebThe long drive to Isleham in the Cambridgeshire Fens paid off for Oliver, with two wins and a further two top 10 placings – this was Oliver’s 13th successive year riding at Isleham!

Kathleen Wilkinson and Rachel Wood’s ODT Ghareeb stormed round the cross country to win an Open Intermediate – the only horse to make the intermediate optimum time, and therefore the only one to finish on a dressage score. ‘The older he gets, the better he gets’, Oliver says.

Andrew Cawthray’s Note Worthy picked up just 0.4 of a time penalty to win one of the Open Novice sections by over five marks, while new ride Dromgurrihy Blue put in a good steady cross country clear in the OI, to finish 5th in his section.
