Ten of the young guns made the trip to Eland Lodge, and all bar one finished in the top six in their sections.
Eds Typhoon took the win in his BE100 section with a dressage score completion, while both Whixley Qualitas and Pointilliste Hero finished in runner up spots – again on their dressage scores.
Not far behind, Gentle Lion placed fourth, as did Samiro Cruze MC although this time in a novice section. Back at BE100, Desert Dancer collected a fifth place rosette, Shadow Balou fifth in her novice class. Finally Heraut bagged a novice sixth place. The Big Red jumped clear across country but show jumping penalties dropped him out of the prizes.
