Yet again the weather got the better of an event and Burnham Market had to abandon before the International classes started to jump; Oliver and Coldplay III were leading the 2* field after the dressage phase.

The national classes did get to run, and Oliver picked up three top 10 placings. A dressage score completion gave Midsummer Picnic a runner up spot in the open novice, whilst MHS King Joules and Cooley Master Class were 8th and 9th in the advanced and open intermediate respectively, with steady double clears.

So, another disappointing end to an eventing weekend, with the 2* and 3* horses having only completed their dressage.
