Burgham organisers did everything they could to keep the event on track, but heavy rain during the week was too much. Despite running dressage at nearby Alnwick Ford Equestrian’s indoor arena, where international competitors were also offered unaffiliated show jumping, there was no chance of any cross country taking place.
Ballaghmor Class and Arctic Mouse had been lying in 3rd & 4th place after dressage in the CIC2*, and in the CIC3* Cooley Master Class and ODT Ghareeb were 11th & 16th.
