Whixley Go Jetter and Star Buster were making their affiliated eventing debuts. They both enjoyed the experience, although Oliver chose not to run them across country, starting their careers slowly.
Aside from that there were three novice top 10 finishes; Whixley Qualitas and Gentle Lion both collected a sixth place rosette, while Herkules 281 placed ninth.
Butts Leia and Be Cooley weren’t in the ribbons, with a rail down apiece but both clear inside the time across country.
