Some of the novice horses were out at Aston-le-Walls last Friday. Butts Leia posted a 31.3 dressage score completion to pick up a runner up spot, while both Whixley Qualitas and Be Cooley placed third in their sections despite a rail down apiece in the showjumping.
Gentle Lion was clear across country but had a couple of rails to finish just outside the top 10, while Herkules 281 just made a green mistake for 20 penalties.
