Oliver produced a stunning test with Sally-Anne Eggington’s Cillnabradden Evo to begin their ERM season in style. Scoring 22.8 for their dressage test – a CIC3* PB for the pair by 2.5 marks – they held the lead for much of the day, before being pipped towards the end to finish the dressage phase in second.
A clear show jumping round kept them in the runner up spot, where they stayed – thanks to a clear cross country round which added just 2.4 time penalties.
“I am thrilled with the horse,” said Oliver. “To get so close to Hale Bob (Ingrid Klimke’s winning ride) is very special and I couldn’t be happier with how he has performed.”
