Both Speculate and Gatestown Master provided Oliver with novice wins at Shelford, both horses completing on their sub-30 dressage scores; a great result given they both started their eventing careers earlier this season.
Bloomfield Bordeaux could have knocked Speculate down the order but a rail down meant that the son of Ghareeb had to settle for the runner up spot. Meanwhile Lissyegan Cooley squeaked into the ribbons in 10th.
