The young guns were out and about at Horseheath. Susie Sant’s Raleigh Round went one better than where he finished last season, taking the runner-up spot in a novice.

At BE100 level Gem Mist,  previously campaigned by Carolyne Ryan Bell, jumped double clear for fourth place. Unnamed, who is owned by Oliver Townend’s parents Alan and Eve, made his affiliated debut a good one, bagging a top 10 rosette after a dressage score finish. Finally Boulon Trou and Pop du Rouet completed mid-field.
