It was very much a case of mixed fortunes for Oliver at Gatcombe. Khoi Traveler came up trumps, winning the British Intermediate Championships (Oliver’s 4th Intermediate title over the years).
Menlo Park took 5th place in the Novice Championships and Samuel Thomas placed 3rd in the Advanced.
However Oliver suffered two horse falls, from Tregilder in the Novice Championships and from Note Worthy in the ERM CIC3*, the pair having led the dressage and gone in to the cross country in 5th place, hard on the heels of the leaders.
