The novice horses were out in force at Breckenbrough, on something of an educational trip. The best performances came from Tregilder and Speculate.
Tregilder placed 7th in his section with a clear inside the time across country but a rail down while Speculate jumped double clear, adding 1.2 time penalties, for 8th place.
