It was a weekend of two halves for Oliver at Bishop Burton. On Saturday Cooley and Co provided a win at only his second ever event, claiming a BE100 section on his dressage score.
Indictable Only picked up a 3rd place and Master Class Ramiro a 5th, both on dressage score completions, while Ramada was 7th with a couple of cross country time penalties, and Ballycapple Nobleman 11th with a showjump down.
Unfortunately Oliver and his first ride in the novice classes on Sunday, Willbrook MBF Snipe, parted company on the cross country course, and Oliver had to withdraw his remaining rides – horse and rider are both fine.
