Oliver had a handful of good placings at Aston-le-Walls. New ride Thunder Bird Z won a novice section on the pair’s first outing together, finishing on their 22.5 dressage score. Pop du Rouet placed third in the same section.
Gem Mist went one better, runner up in his novice section, with Cooley Ice and a Slice bagging a sixth place. A Class Imp had an expensive showjumping round followed by a steady cross-country clear.
