Aston was a day of steady cross country runs for Oliver. He had three horses in the CCI4*S, with MHS King Joules posting the best dressage score, a 26.4. Debut ride Valmy Biats scored a 29.6 and Tregilder a 30.0.
They all show jumped well around a tricky track, before having a nice, if rather damp, spin around the cross country.
Aston-le-Walls’ organisers had stepped in to replace the cancelled Chatsworth International, providing testing courses and excellent going.
