Oliver had a fast and furious few days at the latest Aston fixture, with 14 horses to ride, from BE100 up to Open Intermediate.

Starting with the ‘big boys’, both Ballaghmor Class and Dunbeau took Open Intermediate runner up spots after completing on their dressage scores, while Mr Hiho tapped a rail so had to settle for 4th.

Shadow Boxer, more normally seen out with Ben Hobday who is currently out of action, added a single rail to his dressage score for a good Intermediate placing, whilst Treboy was just out of the ribbons after an expensive show jumping round.

Harthill Diamond and DHI Okey Cokey were foot perfect to win their Novice sections, Gortglas Crazy Love and Tregilder also keeping clean sheets for 2nd and 3rd places respectively, and Shearwater Sportsfield also runner up in the Open Novice.

Last but by no means least, both Damaskus van de Kapel and Lissyegan Cooley provided BE100 wins, the former holding Tchatchaco Ya Ya back in 2nd place. Not a bad few days in the office…
